India Team Update

Dear Friends of Christian Missions Charitable Trust,

It has been several months since we have posted an update about the ministry, but supporters of CMCT from our area have been involved in several ways.

Teri Gundlach, Anne Storm and Mary Hendricks led a team of 12 local women from 4 local churches to CMCT in late January to early February.

It was a great trip for each woman who expressed the impact seeing this ministry had on them. They were so impressed to see the far reaching work CMCT does for approximately 3,000 poor on a daily basis with the love of Jesus.

Everyone was exhausted at the end of the trip just because of the time it took to see so many of CMCT’s 24 ministries! Team members had the opportunity to speak/teach at a soup kitchen, to the HIV/AIDS affected ministry, in the morning chapel sessions and at a huge 71st birthday party for the founder, Dr. Colleen Redit.

The team asked friends and relatives if they would like to donate for a gift to the medical ministry – an instrument that can be used to instantly test for such things as HIV/AIDS and typhoid. People were so generous that, not only was the instrument purchased, but enough was left over to pay for the completion of a home destroyed by the tsunami, as well as provide crutches and wheelchairs in the leprosy village. The group of women are continuing to pursue ways to help support the ministry.

If you are interested in possibly going on a trip to visit CMCT, please reply to indiainvolveteam@gmail.com and we will contact you about the next trip to India.

In late April, Don and Mary Hendricks attended the CMCT International Board meeting in Chennai. Don serves as one of two representatives from the U.S.  The Board is comprised of individuals from England, Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, India and the U.S.

Don was very impressed by the quality of these Board members and how well they work together in giving counsel to the Executives of the ministry.  It was a joy to hear the Lord had provided for their financial needs in the past fiscal year.  He has also been faithful to give direction during challenging times, comfort during sad times, and joy in Him at all times.  There were reports from each ministry and it is truly amazing all that is accomplished through the staff of more than 250. Please pray for them.

Sadly, we report Katie Parsons died on May 17, 2010.  In 1999 she visited CMCT with a team of ladies and had been a faithful supporter and advocate ever since.  She asked in lieu of flowers those remembering her life would please consider supporting CMCT.

Dear Praying Friends,

I am forwarding to you an update about baby Jayden that I received from his mother, Juliet, for prayer. When you read her prayer, you will realize how difficult it is for the parents and how much they need our love, encouragement and prayers. Let us continue to pray for the Lord to touch this child.

With warmest greetings in the Saviour’s Name,

Yours in His glad service,

Colleen

Dear Colleen,

Well by God's grace and din't want to disturb you in your busy schedule and I know you are praying for the baby united in spirit of our Lord.

Little Jayden is fine. He is taking physiotherapy daily and copper injections once is 2 days. Last week this time he had sever breathing trouble due to cold and we took him to the paediatrician and now his cold has come to control. The cold is due to seizures. He is taking medicines and injections along with food. His food intake is less due to cold and seizures.

Sometimes the seizures pulls hims off and he begins to cry thinking that we are pushing him down. It takes a long time to convince him. Injections makes him irritable and he will be crying for a long time.

I only look upon the Lord whenceforth my help cometh. He will be turning 11 months old this 13th but still he does not have head control and nothing which is required for his age.

I understand your concern and thanks for remembering my son since he is your grandson before he became my son. I thank God for this child and everything God has provided me.

I pray god to give me the serenity to accept the things which I cannot change. Today I went to church in the morning and had Holy Communion.

I am continuing my job to make my son comfortable so that I can take care of his needs whatever it may be.

We also took him to the neurologist for checkup and he has asked to continue the medicines for another 3 months and come after that. Since Menkey's discease is an uncommon one, doctors are studying the development of the child and they themselves are confused what should be done next. The creator should
shower his mercy on this child and make him a witness and this is my small request to the Lord.

Please pray that my son should be free from all sickness this month and should attain neck control.

Convey my regards to akka and other liitle children.

Regards,
B.Naomi Juliet

Dear Prayer Partners,

I want to thank you for praying for J Selvi. I am sending these few lines to inform you that she passed away at 2.00 a.m. this morning. The body was released at 6.00 a.m. and taken to her step sister’s house and kept in an ice box on the street. My family and I, with a few others spent quite a long time there this morning.

Pray urgently for Selvi’s family, that they would change and come to know the Lord. Selvi was 27 years old, and it is all very grieving.

At present Vimala, my daughter Tanya, and Aaron are suffering with a viral fever (103 degrees) with terrible sore throat. This is going around here after the cyclonic storm we had last week.

The temperature yesterday and today is 40 degrees and the heat is unbearable.

We would value your prayers in this hour of need.

With warmest greetings,

Yours in His Glad Service,

Colleen

Dear Prayer Partners,

Thank you very much for praying for the Boys’ Camp. Praise God we had a very good camp with approximately 200 boys. We praise God for bringing Dexter from Malaysia as the speaker. The messages that Dexter brought to the boys were excellent also for the leaders. It was a real breath of fresh air to have Dexter with us and many boys were blessed much and came to know the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour.

We had a very good testimony meeting on Friday night. 78 boys gave their testimony and it was very encouraging for us to know that every testimony was different. Dexter also took the leader’s meeting every morning and brought out very challenging points for our leaders. Our prayer is that God will continue to bless Dexter and use him mightily in His service as he serves the Lord in Malaysia, and wherever the Lord calls him.

On the second day of camp we had a cyclonic storm, which was due a depression in the Bay of Bengal, but the effects of this storm were very bad in Chennai. There was terrible thunder, lightening and very heavy torrential rain. I have not seen such heavy rain in Chennai for a long time. Roads were flooded everywhere and there were electricity shortages. Many trees were blown down because of the strong gale and the temperature dropped from 38 degrees to 26 degrees. Many of our staff could not attend work, but since then it has become terribly hot and humid. The temperature has reverted to 38 degrees again. But we praise God we had cooler days during camp.

I want you to specially pray for many teenage boys who were at camp, who are passing through a very crucial stage in their lives. Many are seeking to do God’s Will for their futures and many that we need to mould and train as they can be trained to be future leaders in the ministry. So, pray that our men staff will catch a vision as to how they can reach out to these boys.

This week we are admitting new children into the Orphanage and we need to choose schools for them. All the other children will be returning to the Orphanage on the 28th. In this connection we have a lot of work ahead of us, to see to the school uniforms, new shoes, socks, etc.. Pray much for our wardens.

In closing I want to ask special prayer for one of our wardens, Aruna, who has been admitted into our hospital to undergo a hysterectomy operation tomorrow, the 25th.

Please also pray for God’s provision for the financial needs of the ministry, especially for general funds and for all the school admissions.

Special prayer is asked for J Selvi, who is in a very critical condition.

We praise God day by day for His wonderful faithfulness. Please pray for the staff of CMCT and for all to work with sincerity and a deep commitment, for His glory.

Looking forward to hearing from you, and be assured that we are also praying for you.

With warmest greetings

Colleen

Dear Praying Friends,

Warm Greetings to you in His Precious Name.

This comes to you from a very hot Chennai. The temperature is 38 degrees here at present.

We praise God for the encouragement we are having with our four Vacation Bible Schools. Large numbers of children are attending in each place, and our staff are very encouraged by the response that they are seeing from the children. We have two more days to go before the closing day.

We are very busy with preparations for our Girls’ Camp which starts next week from the 4th to the 8th of May. I am asking for special prayer for myself as I will be giving 8 messages during the Camp. Pray that there will be a real breakthrough and that we will see many girls coming to know the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour. Pray for us to keep well in the heat, for the cooks and for unity among the leaders. Pray for Fabiola as she leads the leaders’ devotions each morning

I am sharing a very important need with you for prayer. We are very low in funds in our general account. The last two weeks have been very difficult for us and we are much cast upon the Lord. We are not able to make some payment for many of the expenses for our VBS ministry and Camps.

This is the time of the year when we are starting to pay all the fees for the new school year for all the sponsorship children. School fees have gone up very much and we feel very sorry for staff and parents who have nothing that they can contribute towards their children’s education. In the Sponsorship department we have worked out different categories to make it fair for each one.

We are in the midst of getting the children measured for new school uniforms for the new school year, and new school shoes. This is a very big burden on my heart , and I am sharing this with you so that you will stand with us in prayer.

We praise God for Dave Clark and 8 others who are helping him in the building of houses in our Tsunami village, Chinnakuppam. They arrived yesterday and they are working hard in the heat. They are determined to complete maximum houses before they leave on the 2nd of May. A few of us are going to see them tomorrow and have lunch with them just to encourage them.

Today I have seen many people in my office as this is our open day - some very tragic cases of people wanting to put their children into our Orphanage. I have agreed to take a 13 year old girl next Monday and there are other pitiful cases whom we will help, after conducting surveys.

I have a daughter called J Selvi, who left home about 4 years ago and we got the tragic news that she has been diagnosed as having a very aggressive stomach cancer, which has spread to the small intestines. The doctors are conducting a laproscopy today or tomorrow to see whether they can operate or not, but she is so weak physically and she is on a blood transfer this afternoon. If she has to have chemotherapy we do not know whether she will be able to stand it. As a family we have all been to see her. We are constantly in touch with her and would ask you to pray urgently for her. Only a miracle can save her.

I would be grateful if you could please send a few lines in reply, saying that you have received this email. May God bless you.

With warmest greetings,

Colleen

Dear Praying Friends,

Warm Greetings to you in His Precious Name.

Recently we sent an email to all for prayer but as we have had very little response, we are wondering whether anybody received it? Can you please confirm whether you have received this email. We have told you that we have a new email id – colleenredit@gmail.com – it would be good to send a copy to this email id also to make sure that we receive it.

It is very hot here in Chennai and in many parts of India. There are many deaths because of the heat in the Northern part of India and many people here in Chennai are falling very ill because of food contamination because of extreme heat.

I want to thank you for praying for our Board meetings last week. We praise God for good meetings and that everybody was able to attend. The Lord’s hand was with us, but something happened that we have never experienced before. On Friday one of our Board members took ill with very bad diarrhea and then on Saturday, another 4 of our Board members took ill. On Saturday evening we admitted 5 of our Board members into our Bethany hospital. One or two of them were very ill, but praise God they are improving, but they will need prayer.

Because of the chaos world-wide and so many flights being cancelled, those with us from the UK may not be able to leave until the end of this week or early next week. The others have been able to leave. Please pray that the Lord will help us to overcome this difficulty and that they will be able to return to their homes soon. I know it is affecting so many millions of people and it is an international calamity, so we must all stand together in much prayer.

We had a good Staff Retreat on Saturday, the 17th. VBS starts this week, and our staff need much prayer in these hot days.

We have taken a decision to expel some of the boys from the Bethany Higher Secondary School and we implemented this decision this morning. Some of the boys were very rude to us. We need to remember that we are working amongst the poorest of the poor, and it is not easy. Please pray urgently for families affected because of the unruly behaviour of their children and pray for our covering, and for our School.
Baby Jayden is very ill and is admitted in the hospital. Juliet, his mother, has asked for much prayer. Please pray for the Lord to have mercy on this little child.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Sincerely, in His Service,

Colleen

Dear Praying Friends,

The following is the latest report on baby Jayden that I have received from his mother, Juliet. It is quite sad because this couple were waiting 18 years for a child and then they decided to accept baby Jayden as their own. This baby was born in our hospital and we had no idea of the health problem of this baby. We feel very sad at the distress they are going through. But we must admit that if any baby found a wonderful home with wonderful parents, this baby did. So, this is all the more reason to pray for Juliet, her husband and baby Jayden.

The following is the email I received from Juliet:

______________________________________________
Dear Colleen,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Glad to know that you are keeping good health by His Grace. Here all of us are well.

With regard to the development issues of my son, Y'day we took him to the neurologist for a regular check up after a month.

He is now taking the following medicines in the morning, noon and night:

Morning Noon Night
Omnocortin 5.00 ml 2.5 ml nil
Valparin 3.00 ml nil 3.00 ml
Tab.Lonazep tab 0.25 mg 1/2 nil 1 tab
Syp.Teffra 1.5 ml nil 1.5 ml
Tab.Benadone 40 mg 1 tab nil

The above medicines to control seizures.

To control cold which develops due to seizures

nil Ambrodil S - 2.5 ml nil
Multivitamin and calcium syrup:
Zincovit - 1 ml nil nil
Calcium syrup 2.5 ml nil 2.5 ml

Apart from the above, Copper Chloride injections of 1 ml will be injected thrice a week at night. Both his thighs are swollen due to injections. We have arranged Hestidinate inj also which will be less painful.

The doctor says to wait and see since lot of damages were seen in the brain when doing MRI and it will take some time to control since the disease is like that. When he said the above, I could not control my emotions and I cried a lot. I just wanted to see the daily/monthly development of a child but for the last 8 months only his physical growth I could see but his head control and other developments I could not enjoy.

I have so many questions and I ask Lord why did you do this to me? Anyway, I have no other go but to hold the feet of the Lord strongly to make my dear sonwhole and healthy. I want to proclaim to the doctors/to the world that how wonderfully he has spared my Son's life. I want to give thanks offering taking my son to the alter before the congregation.

When we took him as 1.8 kg, all the people who came to see him where surprised and had a thought why we took this baby? and believe me I did not have the thought that he was less weight etc., but took him whole heartedly with joy in my heart but now when the same people see him, they are surprised and say it is an incredible change. Before these people my Lord should raise my head again as he did already.

We propose to go over to Chennai on 25th the Sunday and wish to meet the neurologist on the 26th. Please let us know your availability and your plan.

Colleen, I want your team to pray for my child continously since prayers can do wonderful things. We all love him so much and it means so much for us. My Sister in law from Australia calls everyday to know about his development. My uncle who is in Canada calls once in 15 days to know about his health. He is so special to all of us.

God loves the destitutes and the widows. He is the father of the fatherless. When he has chosen and given a wonderful home to grow up, he will give him good health too. I am strong but sometimes I feel empty when I see him suffer.
I was not in a position to take the photos on the otherday after doctor said so. Anyway I shall take another snap and send it to you for your prayers.

Please uphold us in prayers. Take care of your health too. Regards to Vimala akka and love to Mariam and Tabitha and other little children.

Regards,

B.Naomi Juliet,
Materials Dept., LGB-Coimbatore

Dear Praying Friends,
Warmest Greetings to all of you. Thank you once again for your prayers and encouragement.
We have a few urgent prayer requests, for which we will appreciate your joining with us in prayer.
  1. It is very hot in Chennai and all our staff are finding it very difficult going out in the heat. Is also difficult for the children at school, especially as they are doing exams at present.
  2. Pray urgently for Sanjay, a small boy of five years who has just had a cancer tumour removed from his shoulder, and an artificial bone inserted. He is now having radiotherapy. It is so sad but we believe that God will do a miracle. Praise God his mother is a believer and with much prayer, we want this child to live a normal life. The doctors were undecided for a long time as to what to do for him. Vairavel came to see us on the Open Day on Wednesday. He is having advanced cancer of the rectum and our Cancer doctor Dr. Soundaravalli who saw him yesterday has put him immediately on radiotherapy treatment. This is costly and he cannot afford the treatment because he is from a very poor family. We will be paying for the treatment.
  3. By the time you receive this we would have had a School Board meeting. We have serious disciplinary problems with the boys in the 9th, 10th and 11th standards, and are constrained to take strict disciplinary action against them. We will be issuing Transfer Certificates to quite a few boys as we no longer want them in our school as they have created a lot of tension by their unruly behaviour. Some of the 10th standard boys, after completing their 10th standard government exam in an outside school, stood on chairs and got hold of a fan and bent the fan blades towards the floor This is such a bad testimony and we had to reply to the school authorities. Sadly all these boys are in our Sponsorship program for many years.
  4. We would value special prayer for our International Board meeting to be held on the 15th, 16th and 17th. Pray for traveling mercies for all traveling into India and for our visit to Chinnakuppam on Wednesday.
  5. We praise God that by Wednesday the roofs will be on all the Tsunami houses. Mr Bhaskar has promised to have this completed for us before the Board members visit Chinnakuppam. We urgently require funds for the Tsunami project. Please pray much for this.
  6. Pray for us as we are conducting VBS leadership training. We, as a staff, praise God for His faithfulness day by day.We have been studying in the Chapel about excellence in leadership. In leadership the Lord requires that this should be our standard in every area of our life.
I look forward to hearing from you. Many think we are too busy to read emails but I want to tell you that we also need encouragement and it is always such a blessing when people keep in touch.

With warmest greetings.

In His glad service, Colleen

Dear Praying Friends,

Warm Greetings to you in His Precious Name.

It is good to be in touch again. The server in our computer has been down for over two weeks and we have just got the connection this afternoon. There are nearly 300 emails waiting to be printed out, so if you have not received an answer from us, you will understand. We will attend to your email as soon as possible.

We have come to the Easter week and we have Leave in CMCT on Good Friday, Saturday and the Monday after Easter. All the staff are looking forward to this break, for time to be with their families and also to remember the Lord in His suffering and all He did for us, and for the glorious Resurrection, and that we serve a Living Saviour.

We are all very busy in CMCT. At present we have a short term worker with us from USA and from the UK. We are very happy that Cassia from the USA is fitting into the ministry so beautifully and is helping in the Sponsorship department. We are very encouraged by her godliness and zeal.

We praise God for the team that came from New Zealand, led by Jim Peden and we are very grateful to them for the houses they were able to build in Chinnakuppam. Ten houses were completed and they also finished part work in a few others. The team worked together very well and kept well in spite of the heat. They are now safely back in their homes. We are looking forward to Dave Clark and his team, who are coming in the last week of April to work again to build some more houses in Chinnakuppam.

In the meantime as on date, 34 houses are fully completed and occupied. 61 houses are partially completed. 80% of the work is finished. 30 houses are 60% completed and the roofing has been done. We have 15 more houses for which the foundation has been laid, but the roofing has still to be done. Because of the rise in the cost of cement, our Contractor has had to buy a lot of cement and at present we owe the Contractor a huge sum (£58,360). This is a very important matter for prayer and we are deeply grateful to the Lord for those whom He is speaking to, who are coming sacrificially to see that this project is finished.

Pray for our 12th standard children from the Orphanage, who have completed their government exams. Today I have sent them to their respective homes, until their results are declared. This is a time for them to pray and think of the many blessings they have received and also to seek God’s Will in their lives for the future. Some are confident of passing while others are not.

Special prayer is asked for Olive, a married lady, who is divorced and living in our Orphanage. She is under a Psychiatrist and is very often disturbed. She has had a very sad life and we would value prayer as we counsel and guide her day by day. Her two daughters are living in the UK. She recently had Typhoid and was warded in our hospital for 12 days. Pray for Ammu who is completely bed-ridden. There is talk about amputating her other leg and this is upsetting her mentally and she needs much prayer and encouragement.

All our children are doing exams at their respective schools. It is a tough time for everybody. The 10th standard children in our Higher Secondary School are doing their exams. Sadly, one of the 10th standard girls, Sandhya, who is a very promising student to secure a State rank, has not been able to sit for the first two exams because she became demon possessed. She is the only girl in a Hindu family who has come to the Lord. Her sister committed suicide and this girl is now suddenly acting as if she is the sister and is calling out to see her children. It is a very sad story and we are having special prayer for deliverance. After deliverance prayer she is much better and we hope from tomorrow she will be writing the rest of her 10th standard exams and be able to complete the other subjects.

We are so relieved that we can be in touch again by email and look forward to hearing from you also to let us know that you have received this email safely. God bless you and a Very Blessed Easter to you.

With warm regards,

Colleen

Dear Praying Friends,

Warm Greetings to you in His Precious Name.

I have received the following email which is the latest update on baby Jayden. He needs URGENT prayer.

Please earnestly pray for this little child, that God in His mercy, will do a miracle and save this little life, for His glory.

Dear Colleen,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus to you and all your team. We are all fine by His grace and hope to hear the same from your end. Hope you are getting better from your illness which we are praying for. With regard to my son's health, he is taking injections regularly 2 times a day from 18.01.2010 and he is little bit active and his seizures are controlled 50%. Y'day we took him to the paediatrician for a regular check up and his weight found to be 6.5 kgs but he had dry cough, vomitting and slight fever and his breathing was bit fast. The doctor says it may be due to infection for which he has given antibiotic, crocin drops and nasal drops.

The infection is due to the accumulation of saliva during seizures which he is unable to swallow. He has to take the antibiotic for another 5 days. Fortunately the neurologist also came there and saw him and I informed him about the jerk he gets violently and before or after that, his chest is not clear (he will get sound as if he is having cold full of flem). He asked to increase the dosage of Sy.Valparin from 1.5 ml to 2.5 ml at night.

Since this is a very rare case, the doctors are having discussion with their friends at U.K as well. Now the doctor prescribes COPPER HISTIDINE OR HISTIDINATE injection which they feel will be less painful. His thighs are swollen now and they are injecting in both the hands and the doctor says that he will inject on his stomach as well.

Since all over the world well wishers like you are praying, my son is getting on and on. HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR US.

We will have to see the doctor today since he had fast breathing y'day due to infection. We takehim at 9.00 Pm since the doctor is also nearby.

Praise God he does not seem to be have this illness. He looks so radiant with good features and complexion. He should declare to the world what God has done for him. I pray he should have long life and happiness for the sufferings he has gone through sofar.

I shall keep you informed then and there. Uphold us in your prayers.

Take care of your health too and love to all your family members.

Regards,

Colleen's Prayer Updates

Dear Prayer Partners,

Warmest Greetings to you in His Precious Name!

1. I want to thank you for praying for me as I applied for my 5 year residential permit. Praise God I found favour in the eyes of the Immigration Official, who asked me a question, “Why do you do so much for others?”, to which I replied accordingly and he said, “God looks after those who help others”. He was very curious to see my first passport when I first came to India in 1964!!. He granted me a further five years. I pick up my papers on Thursday afternoon. All glory to the Lord.

2. In regard to Baby Jayden, the blood test report taken for copper serum was very low. It was 12.2 against 70.00 to 150.00. The doctor has said that the cells in the brain which are already damaged cannot be repaired but further damages can be stopped if the copper is administered at the earliest. Copper Chloride will be given intravenously on daily basis and the blood test will be done simultaneously to check if the copper has reached to its requirement. For head control, physiotherapy has to be done once the seizures are controlled. Please pray that there should not be any side effects after all this medication since this little baby has suffered to the extreme due to this, which the doctors could detect only now. Had it been left, the parents would have lost their baby. Praise God that some medicine has been located in Miami, USA, but as it is going to be an ongoing need, if anybody else knows where to locate this medicine, please let us know.

3. Urgent prayer is asked for a 5 year old UKG Bethany School boy called Sanjay who has a cancer tumour on his left shoulder (Ewing Sarcoma Tumor Clavicle (L). The mother is very poor. The child is on chemotherapy and we are giving some extra nourishment to him. To look at the child’s shoulder is awful, but our God is able to touch this child and heal him. This boy is in Cedar Fund sponsorship program, so please be much in prayer for him.

4. Thank you to all of you who prayed for John Joseph. Because he was a high risk patient, he had open heart surgery last Friday afternoon. The operation went on till 10.30 p.m. at night. After surgery the doctor phoned to tell me he was stable and was shifted to the intensive care unit. After 24 hours in the ICU he was shifted to a private room. He is not allowed any visitors to prevent infection. He is improving day by day. It is a miracle of God and John also realizes this. He is in touch with me on the phone. Please pray much that he will gain good health and strength and make the best of the new lease of life that God has given him and draw very close to the Lord and become a powerful man of God. He has an ulcer on his leg that he has had for 11 years. This is also being treated. Pray for complete healing.

The team from Scotland and Northern Ireland arrived safely, but without their luggage. Please pray that their luggage will be brought quickly to them on the next British Airways flight tonight. They were late getting into Heathrow and had only 20 minutes to board the flight to India, and no time for their luggage to be transferred.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, we will be having 21 foreigners in our chapel. It is such a joy to us.

Please let us know when you receive this email. My God bless you abundantly.

With warmest greetings,

Colleen

Colleen's Prayer Updates

Dear Praying Friends,

Warm Greetings to you in His Precious Name.

Urgent prayer is asked for Mr John Joseph who is a part of our ministry for over 30 years, and who is undergoing an open heart surgery today.

He has three blocks, of 100%, 80% and 60%. I visited him last evening in the hospital and prayed with him. The family has asked for special prayer today, so we had a special time of prayer in the chapel after our devotions. Please pray that the surgery will be successful. Pray for his wife Maria, who is not able to walk or stand. Pray that this family, who are Roman Catholics will totally surrender themselves to the Lord Jesus. John is now praying with us and seems so much closer to the Lord than before.

I want to ask prayer also for a baby called Jayden, who was given to Julie and John George by me from our hospital six months ago. This baby has been diagnosed with “Menke’s Kinky Hair Syndrome”, and is having fits several times a day. He is being given Gardinel. According to the doctor, this is a disease where one in 10 million babies are born with this disorder. Because of this disease, the baby’s smile, face reading and head control has not come yet even though he has completed 6 months. The doctors say the baby will be normal only after he is given COPPER CHLORIDE (2MG 5ML) injections. We are urgently trying to get this injection. The baby is under a top pediatrician in Coimbatore.

If any of you reading this email knows how to get this injection, we need 10 VIALS immediately, and would be most grateful to you. Pray for God’s healing for this child, and for a miracle to take place, and that we will be able to procure the Copper Chloride injections as soon as possible. May God bless you.

With warmest greetings,

Colleen
